Joe Vasquez

President, Combined Insurance, Senior Vice President, Chubb Group
Mr. Vasquez is responsible for Chubb’s personal accident and supplemental health (A&H) insurance business worldwide, including the operations of Combined Insurance. He has nearly 30 years of A&H insurance industry experience, including two decades at Chubb (formerly ACE). He joined the organization in 2000 to create and lead the company’s U.S. A&H business and later served as President of ESIS, an affiliate of Chubb, from 2015 to 2018. Prior to Chubb, Mr. Vasquez served in a senior leadership role in the national A&H Division of Reliance National Insurance Company in New York City from 1991 to 2000. He has also held senior A&H underwriting positions with the American International Group (AIG). He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Peter’s University.


Chris Martin

President, Worksite Solutions
Mr. Martin joined Combined Insurance in June 2011 bringing with him nearly 20 years of experience in management and development of worksite-style businesses including 17 years with Trustmark, a life and health insurer and employee benefits provider. In addition to his extensive experience, Mr. Martin holds a bachelor’s of economics from Yale University and a master’s of management in marketing and organization behavior from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.


Doug Abercrombie

Senior Vice President, Chief Agency Officer
Mr. Abercrombie has more than 30 years of experience with Combined Insurance. Beginning his career as a sales agent, he quickly moved into various leadership positions and progressed into building sales teams in Ohio, Texas, and throughout the western U.S. In 2007, Mr. Abercrombie was named Director, National Strategy and then SVP, East National Sales Manager. In August of 2012, he was promoted to SVP for the South/SE zone, a position he held until being promoted into his current position as SVP, Chief Agency Officer. In this role, Mr. Abercrombie is responsible for U.S. sales strategy, talent management, and market development and growth.


Chris Anderson

Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Anderson is responsible for the end-to-end leadership of the company’s Finance function. He joined Combined Insurance in 2014, and previously held the role of Controller. Mr. Anderson has 30 years of professional accounting and finance experience at a major accounting firm, where he led the delivery of audit and tax services to several large insurance organizations.


Alejandro Benavides

Chief Information Officer
Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, Mr. Benavides started his professional career in the insurance industry, executing on all IT position levels from Software Analyst to Director of Operations and IT, with successful experience related to Software Application Development and Maintenance, Process Reengineering and Transformation Programs. In 2013 he joined Chubb, located in Miami, as VP & CIO for Latin America until October 2019 when he became the CIO at Combined Insurance.


Eileen Castolene

Senior Vice President, Head of Operations and Technology
Eileen Castolene is Senior Vice President, Head of Operations and Technology at Combined Insurance. She possesses more than 20 years of diverse experience in operations management within the insurance industry. She received academic honors at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT while completing her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. Eileen has been recognized for her strength in building and improving performance within teams and individuals who have direct customer interface.


Sadaf Siddiqui

General Counsel
Ms. Siddiqui is responsible for all legal and compliance matters for Combined Insurance. She joined the legal department of Chubb Life Insurance Company of Canada in 2012, providing legal and regulatory counsel to Chubb Life and the Canadian branch of Combined Insurance. A member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the New York State bar, Ms. Siddiqui has almost 20 years of progressive responsibility in the financial services sector with a concentration in the life, accident and health insurance industry, both in her prior roles with a prominent Canadian life insurance company and a multinational special risk carrier.


Alex Faynberg

Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary
Alex joined Combined, Actuary team as a Senior Vice President & Deputy Chief Actuary in April, 2016, focused on reserving, data analytics, financial actuarial results, and support of Actuarial Targeted Operating Model project. In January 2017 Alex was promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary. Prior to joining Combined Insurance, Mr. Faynberg had progressive career paths at Liberty Mutual, AIG and New York Life.


Chad Wells

Vice President, Marketing
Mr. Wells is responsible for sales growth and business development through product development, digital advertising, social media, sales campaigns and other marketing initiatives. He has more than 25 years of experience in product and marketing in the healthcare, insurance and human capital industries. Most recently, he led national sales and marketing platforms in employer markets for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association as Executive Director of Program Management and Marketing. 


Ken McIntryre

Claims, SVP
Ken is responsible for the end-to-end leadership of the company’s Claims function in the United States and Canada, with a focus on claims service as a competitive advantage, talent management, setting policy strategies and driving a targeted operating model. Ken joined Combined in December of 2009 focusing on strategic project efforts across Operations. In June of 2015, Ken assumed leadership of North American Operations and led the team in providing quality service to Policyholders, Field Sales Organization, and other business stakeholders.  Prior to joining Combined Insurance, Ken worked for Arthur Andersen for 27 years as a business and systems consultant focused on Financial Services and Insurance clients.
