For the eighth consecutive year, Combined Insurance, a leading provider of individual supplemental accident, disability, health, and life insurance products, and a Chubb company, has been named to the 2017 Ward’s 50 list of top performing life-health insurance companies.  The company was recognized again for achieving outstanding financial results in the areas of safety, consistency, and performance over a five year period (2012 to 2016).  Additionally, the Chubb organization was recognized for both the property-casualty and life-health segments.

Ward Group is a part of Aon Hewitt and is the trusted leader of benchmarking and best practices services for the insurance industry.

“Combined Insurance is honored to be included on the Ward’s list again for the eighth consecutive year,” said Brad Bennett, President of Combined Insurance.  “This recognition is a testament to the strategy, practices and standards we have put in place to further build our business, grow our company and most importantly, meet the needs of our customers.”

To be included on the list and receive the Ward’s 50 Seal, an insurance provider must surpass all safety and consistency tests and achieve superior performance during the five years analyzed. Organizations are ranked in performance based on the following metrics:

  • Five year average Return on Average Equity
  • Five year average Return on Average Results
  • Five year average Return on Total Revenue
  • Five year growth in Total Revenue
  • Five year growth in Surplus

In addition to its inclusion on the Ward’s 50 list, Combined Insurance has an A+ accredited business rating from the Better Business Bureau and an A+ (Superior) Financial Strength rating from A.M.
