Chris Martin, President of Combined Insurance’s Worksite Division Inducted into the Worksite Marketing Hall of Fame
Combined Insurance, a leading provider of individual supplemental accident, disability, health and life insurance products, and an ACE Group company, announced today that Chris Martin, president of Combined Insurance’s worksite division, has been inducted into the Workplace Benefits Association’s Worksite Marketing Hall of Fame.
Each year, inductees are chosen by their peers, based on an individual’s career achievements and contributions to the voluntary benefits industry. The Workplace Benefits Association’s Hall of Fame was established in 1999.
According to Eastbridge Consulting’s annual U.S. Voluntary/Worksite Sales Report, new business annualized premium from voluntary sales was $6.89 billion in 2014, up almost four percent over 2013 sales. Eastbridge recently recognized Combined Insurance as the 2014 Voluntary Sales Growth Leader in the small carrier category.
“The Workplace Benefits Association is pleased to be able to recognize voluntary benefits professionals and their accomplishments,” said Walt Podgurski, publisher, Workplace Benefits Association. “Chris Martin has given a great deal back to the industry, as demonstrated by his peers who selected him for induction into the Worksite Marketing Hall of Fame this year.”
Martin began his career with Combined Insurance in June 2011, bringing with him nearly 20 years of experience in management and development of worksite-style businesses. As president of Worksite Solutions, the workplace voluntary benefits division of Combined Insurance, Martin is responsible for providing leadership and management of the business, including strategic planning, sales growth, market development, producer relations, and operations.
